Job Overview
At AdLiven, Game Developers lead the end-to-end development of engaging playable ads. You'll craft immersive interactive experiences using cutting-edge web game development technologies, collaborating with top-tier mobile gaming studios to drive user engagement and acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, engaging playable ads using advanced JavaScript and web technologies
- Design and implement interactive game mechanics that showcase the core features of mobile games
- Write efficient, scalable, and performant code utilizing various web engines and frameworks
- Optimize playable ads for performance, load times, and file size across different platforms and devices
- Build and maintain a library of reusable playable ad templates and components
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and producers to ensure seamless integration of assets and adherence to brand guidelines
- Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and problem-solving support to foster team growth and maintain high code quality standards
- Stay updated with the latest trends in mobile gaming and ad tech to innovate our playable ad offerings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Game Development, Game Design, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- Extensive experience with the Phaser 3 game engine is required. PixiJS and Three.js are a plus!
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
- Demonstrated ability to develop for various game genres including Match3, puzzle, card, hyper-casual, mid-core, and casual games
- Proficiency in implementing particle effects and working with Spine animations
- Strong understanding of game design principles and best practices
- Skilled in debugging web game environments and performance optimization techniques
- Proficient with version control systems, specifically Git/Codecommit
- Experience in developing and optimizing for major ad networks (IronSource, Applovin, Unity, Facebook, Vungle, Google, etc.) a plus!
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal are required
- Must have portfolio demonstrating relevant playable ad or web game projects, applications without a portfolio will not be considered
- Position is remote but must be able to work Bangkok, Thailand hours, GMT +7
